Salaried employees can be the following:Office work, buying and selling or certain types of warehousing. In addition, the person must work more than 8 hours on average per week, and be subject to instruction from the employer. Certain trade travelers may be so self-employed that they are not subject to instruction from the employer, and thus exempt from the Salaried Employees Act.
Technical and clinical assistance is covered by the law, ie. for example laboratory technicians and clinic assistants.
